Small Update/Late Progress Report

Hey all!

Sorry, it's been a bit without much news but I can assure you that I am working hard on I.C.O. A string of unfortunate events however had halted progress in the last month or so which meant I was a bit preoccupied there. I am still working on the feral designs and these have perhaps been the most difficult, tumultuous task I've had to face thus far. But make no mistake, I am still incredibly devoted to I.C.O. and I do not intend to stop. However, I could use some input for making these feral designs the best they can be.

I've spent months and this is what I'm at so far. I'm very satisfied with it overall and Cookie's artwork helped shape it. (Tail is not yet implemented but I don't think it'll be that huge of an issue.) The pose is a bit stiff though but it's a reference image so hopefully, it's not that huge of an issue.

However, I have an issue with the head and wonder how I can make it look better. I uploaded what I wanted the head to look like from a profile view but making it work from different angles such as 3/4ths has been incredibly complicated and time-consuming. If there are artists who are well versed in 3D then I would love to hear your input on the head or even the rest of the design. It'd be so damn helpful.

Thank you so much for your patience and I hope that I can be finished with these designs soon!

Keep at it! I can tell you've put a lot of work and thought into this with this sketch alone (with the previous posts as well). I'm sadly not really into art or 3D as I was into animation but I'm sure you'll find that spark, don't lose your way friend.

Firstly, it's EXTREMELY good to hear back from you! I was missing this VN in particular, it's definitely one of the ones with the most original concept around tbh. But as for the struggle I totally understand, working with Skull-like features with all the holes and perspective to go with it can be a real pain. If anything i'd recommend maybe modeling a mock-up of the head in an actual 3D software, it would definitely pay off when in need of reference later on!
